You decide to lure the two mobile zombies away from the one trapped under the shelf. You see a metal pipe on a table next to you. You grab it and start banging it against the wall. The zombies look up and start moving toward you.
You make your way down the hall toward the tech lab; however, there is a problem. One zombie is running after you while the other is moving at a snail's pace. You reach the tech lab and decide to trap the stronger zombie inside and deal with the slow one after.
You enter the lab and make your way around the table in the middle of the room. The strong zombie follows. You circle the table and head for the door. You make it. You close the door. The zombie is trapped.
You feel a sharp pain on your left shoulder. The zombie with the almost severed foot has bitten you. You push it off and swing the pipe for it’s head. “Thump,” it hits the floor, but the damage is done. You are infected.
You decide to finish the job you came to do. You bend down and use the inside of the medal pipe to scrape up a large sample of zombie brain from the zombie you killed and head back to Jamie. As soon as you walk into the laboratory, Jamie asks, “What happened?”
You respond sarcastically, “No big deal. Just got bit by a zombie.”
Jamie looks at you with concern and says, “If we get those brains under a microscope and analyze the parasite, I should be able to whip up a serum that will stop you from turning.”
You say, again with sarcasm, “Great, then I won’t need to eat your brains.”
Jamie scrapes some brain matter onto a glass slide and pops the slide under a microscope.
After a few minutes, Jamie asks you to take a look. You can’t believe it. You can clearly see the parasite. The little bugger that’s responsible for the apocalypse.
Jamie asks for the microscope back and hands you a piece of paper and a pen. Jamie tells you to record what they tell you.
